Sidhe Designs is the collaborative effort of two creative childhood friends.
We grew up on the same street in southern Ohio and dressed as Sailormoon characters on Halloween. Now we
live 1,000 miles apart, but we keep on creating. We made a runway collection from as far apart as Louisville
and Japan. Whenever we can we also work with hometown photographers and models as well, as we love to
collaborate. We are constantly learning from better-established and more talented folk.

Your Sidhe Designers aren't full-time artists.
Although we sometimes wish that we could live on creativity alone, your Sidhe Designers bring home the bacon
in alternative ways. Designer Brittany is a model and works in a fine jewelry store in Kentucky; designer Anna
is a communications graduate student and interns in Colorado. Some of our work is stored in Ohio. We
nonetheless pride ourselves in responding swiftly to customers and questions, and we will always maintain
honest communication. If for some reason an order is in Ohio and cannot be delivered immediately, we will tell
you. We have 100% positive customer feedback on Etsy for a reason.
Pricing at Sidhe Designs is simple. We start by looking at the cost of our raw materials -- was that copper
tubing expensive? Was that ribbon cheerful and cheap? -- and then factor in how many hours the design took to
make. We also consider uniqueness (most of our items are one-of-a-kind, creative energy, and the customer's
budget. We want our items to be affordable, but we also want to be able to afford making them.

Commission prices are determined on a project-by-project basis and can be adjusted according to materials
requested, intensity of effort, etc. Designer Anna typically exchanges cell phone numbers with commission
customers and texts them photos of fabric, materials, etc., before buying them, but this level of communication
is optional. Past customers have enjoyed progress pics.

Shipping prices will be kept low as possible. Whenever possible we make our own boxes to shave off inches
and avoid a balloon charge. We also carefully package items with recycled materials whenever possible.
